Saturday 11th January (13.10pm - 14.00pm) First visit of the new year for a couple of airliners....Jet2 Boeing 737-800 G-JZHV departed to Manchester as (EXS037E) after maintenance, arriving from East Midlands as (EXS039E) on Tuesday 2nd Jan, while Air Cairo Airbus A320-200 SU-BPV arrived from Cairo on Monday 6th as (MSC5555) for scrapping. 

Friday 24th January (13.30pm - 14.00pm)  Had a nip up to shoot the two resident aircraft that had been damaged and no doubt wrote off due to Storm Euwyn blasting through the UK today.. anyway G-OEFT Piper PA38 Tomahawk and G-OMAS Cessna 150 both looked as though they wont fly again and are a possibly W/O. Others of note ex Easyjet Airbus A319 G-EZAY hangs on, (but just), and lastly ASL Airlines/Fed Ex Boeing 737-800F OE-IXM arrived early this morning from Paris as (TAY1D1) and looks to be stopping the weekend.

Sunday 2nd February (10.30pm 11.15am)  ZondaJet Cessna 525 Citationjet CJ3+ SP-JOY routed from Bologna to Birmingham as (HEY02P), and on the move 'although not very far' was ex Air Serbia ATR,42 2-UALU still carrying its previous registration of YU-ALU.

Saturday 22nd February 15.00pm - 15.15pm)  Just the two basic polar coloured Airbus A320s this afternoon on maintenance with Willis. OE-IAG arrived from Marana via Bangor and Keflavik as 2-WLFC on the 13th November last year and is due to go to Vueling as EC-OLF shortly, while ES-SAM of Smart Lynx Estonia arrived from Bydgoszcz as (MYX9101) on the 20th Feb.

Sunday 6th April (08.00am-08.10am)  Another two basic coloured aircraft. Smart Lynx Airbus A321-200(P2F) 9H-CGB arrived in basic DHL colours from Cologne as (MYX9251) on 31st March,  and is due out later today to Cologne as (MYX8113) after being in Airborne colours for a respray, while FAI rent-a-jet Challenger CL604 D-AFAG arrived from Dubai as (IFA2087) on 3rd April, and departed this afternoon to Nuremberg under the same callsign..

Friday 2nd May (15.45pm - 1708pm) Not much of excitement today as only here to try out my new camera gear..  anyway 2 Excel Aviation Piper Pa31 Navajo G-BPYR was on a training flight arriving and departing from and its Humberside base as (BRO61), LuxAviation Ce560XL Citation Excel G-SIRS routed from Liverpool to East Midlands as (LNX98RS).  Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMWI was operating the Amsterdam (KLM38H/966) service, while resident Be200 Super King Air G-IASC departed to Isle of Man as (MDI26).

Tuesday 6th May (17.20pm - 21.00pm)  Longer than planned visit tonight due to the delayed Fed Express flight, anyway Easyjet Airbus A319-G-EZDH was here training for just over 7hours as (EZY9) routing from and to London Gatwick as (EZY9091/3). Operating the schedules was Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMZI as (KLM38H/966) Amsterdam service, while Eastern Jetstream G-MAJT positioned in from Humberside as (EZE011P) to operated the delayed (EZE64L) Aberdeen Service, and lastly arriving in the dark nearly was ASL Airlines Ireland/Fed Express Boeing 737-400F EI-STS routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle as (FDX2DI).

Friday 9th May (13.20pm - 14.00pm) Popped in on the way to the dentist this afternoon to catch a couple of departures.....  Ce525 Citationjet CJ2 D-IBET departed to Bologna after arriving from Kerry yesterday, meanwhile Jetfly Aviation Pilatus PC12 LX-FLG departed to Fairoaks as (JFA41W)after arriving from Biggin Hill lastnight as (RVR54LX), and lastly in for a overshoot was Royal Air Force EMB500 Phenom 100/T.1 ZM336 as (CWL45), no doubt heading from and to its base at Cranwell. 

Friday 16th May (13.30pm - 14.10pm)  Colourful Falcon 900 N592CL routed from at to London Luton for the weekend, while based Draken aircraft arriving back from their local sorties were Aero L-159s G-DKNA, G-DKNB and G-DKNF as (Savage 11, 12 and 13 respectively) and Falcon 20 G-FRAP as (ZODIAC 92).

Thursday 22nd May (18.00pm - 18.50pm) Nice first type visit in the shape of a Gulfstream G700 EC-OJM leaving tonight,  it routed from and to Santiago Rosalia de Castro as (GES181M) 'having arrived lastnight'. Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMZI as (KLM38H/966) Amsterdam service.

Friday 30th May (15.25pm taken from my house on approach)  Alba Star Boeing 737-800 EC-NAB arrived on the return Tarbes-Lourdes charter as (LAV4264), and positioning out to Cork some 90 Minutes later as (LAV926P).

Saturday 31st May (08.00am - 12.25pm//17.15pm - 17.25pm)  Two visits today, first visit a lot longer than planned due to the departure delay on the Alba Star Boeing 737-800 EC-NGC, which went tech after arrival as (LAV4265) from Tarbes-Lourdes lastnight, it eventually departed to Milan Bergamo as (LAV925P) at 12.25pm when originally due to depart at 08.00am. Eastern Airways ATR72 G-IACZ was operating the (EZE791/2) Jersey service, while their Embraer ERJ190 G-CLSN was on the (KLM962/3) Amsterdam Service, and lastly TUi Airways Boeing 737-800 G-TAWU operated the (TUI5675/4) Palma Service...  then later i nipped back up for the European based Net Jets Ce680A Citation Latitude N961QS arriving from Palma, having stopped the night, it departed to Beziers the next morning 1st June.

Tuesday 3rd June (12.55pm -  13.15pm) Resident Daher TBM960 N265KC arrived from Wolverhampton-Half Penny Green, while EASP Air Dornier 328 PH-EAE arrived from Thisted for a respray at Airborne Colours and was due to depart to Den Helder on 12th June.

Friday 13th June (14.30pm - 15.15pm)  A short visit today, Easyjet Airbus A319 G-EZAJ routed from and to London Gatwick as (EZY9090/2) for several hours training as (EZY09), Vistajet BD100 Challenger 350 9H-VCQ arrived from Venice for a night stop as (VJT495), leaving mid morning 14th to Paris Charles De Gaulle, also stopping the night after arriving from and heading to Milton near Peterborough was Piper PA31 Navajo N3544M,  while routing from and too Fairoaks was Pilatus PC12 G-FITC, and lastly finally caught up with the classic resident G-BZRO Piper PA30 Twin Comanche.

Monday 16th June (Taken from my house on approach) Fed Ex tonight was operated by ASL Airlines France Boeing 737-400F F-GZTI as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Saturday 21st June (09.15am - 11.55am)  IAS Medical Be200 Super King Air G-CEGP departed to Glasgow as (MDI08),  Falcon 900 N555CK departed to Biggin Hill after arriving from Martin State on 18th June, while arriving from Biggin Hill for the attention of Airbourne Colours was 3 day old BD700 Global 7500 M-DHFE, and lastly KLM operated Embraer ERJ170 PH-EXG on the Amsterdam (KLM963/20E Service and Eastern Airways ATR72 G-CMFI was on the (EZE71J/72J) Jersey service.

Thursday 26th June (20.10pm - 20.55pm) Royal Air Force Euro fighter Typhoon T.3 ZK380 (Typhoon 65) was in for a touch and go while two more flew over the Airport,  Fed Ex tonight was operated by ASL Airlines Ireland Boeing 737-400F EI-STS as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle, while the star visitor tonight "and contender for best visitor so far this years for me" was Learjet 45 CN-TME arriving from Naples as (AOM718M), after stopping two it headed to Casablanca Sat 28th.

Saturday 28th June (Taken from my house) West Atlantic Boeing 737-400F G-NPTH was in for a spot of crew training, routing from and too Belfast International as (NPT900T).

Saturday 5th June (17.00pm - 17.10pm)  Not shot this British Aerospace RJ100 SE-DSV/C-FNWT 'which arrived by road from Norwich on 14/04/23' so was nice to get it from inside the Ryanair Boeing 737-800 EI-EFD while backtracking after our flight back from Corfu. Others taken while walking back to the arrivals gate were Willis Lease N65WL BD700 Global Express, which arrived from Inverness 2nd July, eventually leaving to London Stansted on Sunday 20th, while Valair Ce525 Citationjet CJ3 CS-DVH arrived from Bordeaux as (VVV272) earlier, and was due out to Faro as (VVV211) the next morning.

Thursday 10th July (20.35pm - 20.50pm)  Fed Ex tonight was operated by ASL Airlines Boeing 737-400F OE-IBI as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Friday 18th July (13.30pm - 16.40pm) Silver cloud had two Ce560 Citation's in this afternoon, D-CSCB (a XLS+) routed from Faro to Oxford as (SCR187) while sister ship D-CHDJ (a XLS) arrived from Vitoria as (SCR744) and was due out to Ibiza after stopping the night. Gulfstream G600 M-ANTA routed from Farnborough to Egilsstadir, while Falcon 7X N73VR arrived from Morristown for a nightstop before heading back to its origin, and lastly one of the oldest Falcon 20s still flying, Draken's resident G-FRAJ was doing some training as (FRA94).

Saturday 19th July (07.50am - 08.20am) Nice to finally catch up with one of these Norwegian Air Force C-130J-30 Hercules, 5601 routed from and to Oslo Lufthavn as (NOW335E), 'unfortunately though not in the best weather conditions'...

Saturday 26th July (09.20am - 09.45am)//12.30pm - 13.15pm) two short visits today....Firstly for Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CLSN, which was on the (KLM963/20E) Amsterdam service and DC Aviation BD100 Challenger 350 D-BDDE routing from London Luton to Faro as (DCS503), while on the later visit, Draken's Aero L-159 ALCA's N279EM, N271EM, N273EM and N263EM arrived from Grosseto as (ARTIC01/02/03/04) respectively, and lastly TUi Airways Boeing 737-800 G-TUKS operated the (TOM89M/26M) ) Palma Service...

Tuesday 29th July (18.50pm - 19.25pm)  Time Air Nextant 400XTi OK-RAH arrived from Manchester and was due out to Ibiza the next morning as (TIH343H), Eclipse EA500 N117EA routed from and to its Isle of Man base. BD700 Global 6000 N529CK still sits on stand 5RR after arriving from Geneva 06th July for a fresh coat of paint, and due out on Friday 8th August to Nice, and lastly still hanging on over the south side is VP-CSB Airbus A320 still in Air Cairo colours after arriving from Cairo as SU-BPV (MSC5555) 6th Jan.

Saturday 2nd August (13.45pm - 14.15pm) Pilatus PC6 Turbo Porter D-FICA was undertaking some survey work in Northumberland while routing from and to Leeds East, TUi Airways Boeing 737-800 G-TAWX operated the (TOM89M/26M) Palma Service...

 

Thursday 7th August 20.35pm - 20.50pm)  Fed Ex tonight was operated by ASL Airlines Boeing 737-800F OE-IWE as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Saturday 9th August (09.15am - 10.00am) Ortac Embraer EMB505 Phenom 300 2-ZENP arrived yesterday as (ORT06B) from Newcastle and departed this morning to Jersey as (ORT06A), also arriving yesterday routing in from Cartersville via Baltimore Martin state, and departing this morning back to Cartersville via Bangor International as (GRB164) was Phoenix Air Gulf 5 N566PG.  SAS Airbus A320 OY-KAW arrived from Oslo on the 6th Aug as (SAS9149) for scrapping with Willis, and lastly Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMWI was operating the (KLM963/20E) Amsterdam service.

Thursday 14th August 19.30pm - 20.45pm) Finally caught up with the ASL Airlines latest Boeing 737-800 2-BTPO, which is receiving attention from Willis after arriving from Prague 9th July, NetJets BD100 Challenger 350 CS-CHM arrived from Bern as (NJE7NM), and was due out to Nice as (NJE564V) after stopping the night. Agusta A109 G-XUMA arrived Tuesday 12th August as (Castle07) and left on Sat 16th August, smart Pilatus PC24 9H-APX arrived from Corfu as (ALE4) and departed to Liverpool on Sat August 16th. and lastly as it was getting dark, Fed Ex/ASL Airlines Boeing 737-400F OE-IBL arrived as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Saturday 30th August (10.50am - 11.35am) Gestair Ce560 Citation XLS+ EC-NCJ arrived from Santander on Thursday 28th and was due back out later today to the Spanish city as (GES561J), while Bombardier Challenger 650 9H-CCH routed from Genoa to Cascais as (TEU18).

Tuesday 2nd September (16.30pm - 19.20pm) A busy night! Smart Jet Hawker 400XP SP-TTA routed from Ibiza to Bournemouth as (SAH59P), Nomad Aviation Falcon 7X HB-IAA arrived from Zurich as (NUM801), and departed to Biggin Hill on Thursday 4th. EC-HGI Ce550 Citation II departed to Madrid Barajas as (INI121) after arriving lastnight from there as (INI112), Smart Piper PA31 Navajo G-ONAV routed from Dundee to Fowlmere, Gulfstream G500 N537GS arrived from Spartanburg Downtown Memorial on Saturday 30th August, while regular Falcon 900 N978PW arrived from Morristown yesterday, with both departing back to their origins on Sunday 7th. On the schedules, Eastern Airways BAe Jetstream G-MAJK (still in basic flybe colours) was on the Aberdeen (EZE65L/64L) service, Embraer ERJ170 G-CMLI routed from Amsterdam to Humberside as (KLM965/EZE021P) and ERJ190 G-CLSN did the (EZE963/966) Amsterdam service, and lastly just hanging on is ex SmartLynx Airlines Estonia Airbus A320 ES-SAM, and Airbourne Colours training ATR,72 2-UALU has now been painted, and looking very smart!

Friday 10th October (Taken from my house)  Ex Scoot Airbus A320 VQ-CSC arrived from Kuala Lumpur via Muscat and Cairo as (OMD181) for long term storage.

Saturday 11th October (Two Visits today) (08.25am - 09.15am//14.15pm - 14.50pm) First visit was for two colourful aircraft, D-ETEG Beech F33 Bonanza arrived from Stuttgart and departed the next morning to Le Touquet, while Ce525 Citationjet S5-CCD routed from Antwerp to St Moritz as (VIO5C), then the later visit seen classic Ce550 Citation 2 F-HMXL arrive from Ajaccio and depart Bordeaux as (ARL020U), and Silver Aviation Pilatus PC12 G-MDSE arrived for the night and routed from and to Farnborough as (EMC8).

Friday 24th October (14.10pm - 16.00pm)  Visitors this afternoon.....  Air Alsie Falcon 2000 OY-GFS operated from Biggin Hill to Stockholm Arlanda as (MMD6419),  BD100 Challenger 350 SE-RNR routed from Luton to Malmo as (EUW2257), while Netjets duo, Challenger 650 N256QS arrived from Paris Le Bourget lastnight and went tech on arrival, eventually departing to Teterboro NJ Sat Morning 25th resulting in BD700 Global 6000 N165QS arriving from Biggin Hill to operated to Teterboro NJ some 90 minutes later, Blue Islands ATR,72 G-ISLP arrived from Chester Hawarden with Wrexham FC for their game against Middlesbrough FC tomorrow, and then departed to Jersey as (BCI9001/P), and lastly Agusta A109 G-EMHN arrived from and to a Private site as (CTK06).

Friday 31st October (14.10-14.50pm)  Gulfstream G600 N795CP arrived from Aberdeen, and departed to    on Sunday 2nd November Turkish Airlines Airbus A321 TC-JTM arrived from Istanbul as (THY4901) for the attention of Airbourne Colours, while in storage and out of the hanger engineless is Ex Scoot Airbus A320 VQ-CSC, which arrived from Kuala Lumpur via Muscat and Cairo as (OMD181) on Friday 10th October.. On the lighter side, Airbus H145 G-HFLW routed from a private site near Rothbury to White Waltham, and lastly, smart resident PA31 Navajo G-SYLL arrived from Rufforth.

 

Friday 7th November (13.15pm - 13.40pm) Vistajet BD700 Global 600 9H-VJO arrived from Teterboro as (VJT878) and was due out to London Luton after stopping the night. Routing from and to Barcelona for a 5 night stay on the Wed 05th November as (TES131) was smart Ce550 Citation II CS-DVZ, also arriving on the 5th November was Freebird Airbus A320 TC-FBO, which arrived from Eindhoven as (FHM913P) for the attention of Airbourne Colours.

Saturday 15th November (11.40am - 12.00pm) Not the best of days for photos, never the less two of interest in this morning while heading to the dentist.  Swiss Air Force Pilatus PC12 HB-FOG routed from and too Payerne as (SUI542) while Army Air Corps Boeing AH-64 Apache ZM714 wasn't going anywhere in a hurry after diverting in yesterday from Dishforth as (Gunship1).

Friday 21st November (13.00pm - 13.30pm)  Netjets UK double today, with both stopping the night,  Ce560 Citation XLS G-NJAI arrived from Northolt and departed to Biggin Hill as (NJU548H/NJU72T), while Falcon 2000 G-NJAE routed from and to Farnborugh as (NJE124T/9XC), meanwhile Ce550 Citation Bravo G-SPJT routed from and to London Stansted as (CBM55).

Saturday 20th December 11.00am - 11.10am. Just the one today, smart BD700 Global 6000 CS-JHH  arrived from Salzburg as (LMJ23H), and departed to Gerona on Sat 27th December.

Sunday 28th December (12.30pm - 12.45pm) Flexjet Gulfstream G450 N468FX arrived lastnight from Paris Le Bourget and left to Boston early afternoon as (LXJ468), while in for scrapping and arriving also lastnight from Cairo was Air Cairo Airbus A320 SU-BPW as (MSC4444).

Monday 29th December (14.50pm - 19.20pm) First time I've managed to shoot resident PA38 Tomahawk N2586A. Ex Scoot Airways Airbus A320 VQ-CSD arrived from Cairo for scrapping/storage as (OMD205), whilst Titan Airways Airbus A320 G-POWK departed back to  London Stansted as (AWC320W) after the respray into Coca Cola Colours having arrived as (AWC320Y) on the 21st.
