Teesside Airport Movements in 2025!!
Some of the more interesting visitors in 2025 that I managed to capture!! Saturday 11th January
Saturday 11th January (13.10pm - 14.00pm) First visit of the new year for a couple of airliners....Jet2 Boeing 737-800 G-JZHV departed to Manchester as (EXS037E) after maintenance, arriving from East Midlands as (EXS039E) on Tuesday 2nd Jan, while Air Cairo Airbus A320-200 SU-BPV arrived from Cairo on Monday 6th as (MSC5555) for scrapping.
Friday 24th January (13.30pm - 14.00pm) Had a nip up to shoot the two resident aircraft that had been damaged and no doubt wrote off due to Storm Euwyn blasting through the UK today.. anyway G-OEFT Piper PA38 Tomahawk and G-OMAS Cessna 150 both looked as though they wont fly again and are a possibly W/O. Others of note ex Easyjet Airbus A319 G-EZAY hangs on, (but just), and lastly ASL Airlines/Fed Ex Boeing 737-800F OE-IXM arrived early this morning from Paris as (TAY1D1) and looks to be stopping the weekend.
Sunday 2nd February (10.30pm 11.15am) ZondaJet Cessna 525 Citationjet CJ3+ SP-JOY routed from Bologna to Birmingham as (HEY02P), and on the move 'although not very far' was ex Air Serbia ATR,42 2-UALU still carrying its previous registration of YU-ALU.
Saturday 22nd February 15.00pm - 15.15pm) Just the two basic polar coloured Airbus A320s this afternoon on maintenance with Willis. OE-IAG arrived from Marana via Bangor and Keflavik as 2-WLFC on the 13th November last year and is due to go to Vueling as EC-OLF shortly, while ES-SAM of Smart Lynx Estonia arrived from Bydgoszcz as (MYX9101) on the 20th Feb.
Sunday 6th April (08.00am-08.10am) Another two basic coloured aircraft. Smart Lynx Airbus A321-200(P2F) 9H-CGB arrived in basic DHL colours from Cologne as (MYX9251) on 31st March, and is due out later today to Cologne as (MYX8113) after being in Airborne colours for a respray, while FAI rent-a-jet Challenger CL604 D-AFAG arrived from Dubai as (IFA2087) on 3rd April, and departed this afternoon to Nuremberg under the same callsign..
Friday 2nd May (15.45pm - 1708pm) Not much of excitement today as only here to try out my new camera gear.. anyway 2 Excel Aviation Piper Pa31 Navajo G-BPYR was on a training flight arriving and departing from and its Humberside base as (BRO61), LuxAviation Ce560XL Citation Excel G-SIRS routed from Liverpool to East Midlands as (LNX98RS). Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMWI was operating the Amsterdam (KLM38H/966) service, while resident Be200 Super King Air G-IASC departed to Isle of Man as (MDI26).
Tuesday 6th May (17.20pm - 21.00pm) Longer than planned visit tonight due to the delayed Fed Express flight, anyway Easyjet Airbus A319-G-EZDH was here training for just over 7hours as (EZY9) routing from and to London Gatwick as (EZY9091/3). Operating the schedules was Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMZI as (KLM38H/966) Amsterdam service, while Eastern Jetstream G-MAJT positioned in from Humberside as (EZE011P) to operated the delayed (EZE64L) Aberdeen Service, and lastly arriving in the dark nearly was ASL Airlines Ireland/Fed Express Boeing 737-400F EI-STS routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle as (FDX2DI).
Friday 9th May (13.20pm - 14.00pm) Popped in on the way to the dentist this afternoon to catch a couple of departures..... Ce525 Citationjet CJ2 D-IBET departed to Bologna after arriving from Kerry yesterday, meanwhile Jetfly Aviation Pilatus PC12 LX-FLG departed to Fairoaks as (JFA41W)after arriving from Biggin Hill lastnight as (RVR54LX), and lastly in for a overshoot was Royal Air Force EMB500 Phenom 100/T.1 ZM336 as (CWL45), no doubt heading from and to its base at Cranwell.
Friday 16th May (13.30pm - 14.10pm) Colourful Falcon 900 N592CL routed from at to London Luton for the weekend, while based Draken aircraft arriving back from their local sorties were Aero L-159s G-DKNA, G-DKNB and G-DKNF as (Savage 11, 12 and 13 respectively) and Falcon 20 G-FRAP as (ZODIAC 92).
Thursday 22nd May (18.00pm - 18.50pm) Nice first type visit in the shape of a Gulfstream G700 EC-OJM leaving tonight, it routed from and to Santiago Rosalia de Castro as (GES181M) 'having arrived lastnight'. Eastern Airways Embraer ERJ190 G-CMZI as (KLM38H/966) Amsterdam service.
Friday 30th May (15.25pm taken from my house on approach) Alba Star Boeing 737-800 EC-NAB arrived on the return Tarbes-Lourdes charter as (LAV4264), and positioning out to Cork some 90 Minutes later as (LAV926P).
Saturday 31st May (08.00am - 12.25pm//17.15pm - 17.25pm) Two visits today, first visit a lot longer than planned due to the departure delay on the Alba Star Boeing 737-800 EC-NGC, which went tech after arrival as (LAV4265) from Tarbes-Lourdes lastnight, it eventually departed to Milan Bergamo as (LAV925P) at 12.25pm when originally due to depart at 08.00am. Eastern Airways ATR72 G-IACZ was operating the (EZE791/2) Jersey service, while their Embraer ERJ190 G-CLSN was on the (KLM962/3) Amsterdam Service, and lastly TUi Airways Boeing 737-800 G-TAWU operated the (TUI5675/4) Palma Service... then later i nipped back up for the European based Net Jets Ce680A Citation Latitude N961QS arriving from Palma, having stopped the night, it departed to Beziers the next morning 1st June.
Tuesday 3rd June (12.55pm - 13.15pm) Resident Daher TBM960 N265KC arrived from Wolverhampton-Half Penny Green, while EASP Air Dornier 328 PH-EAE arrived from Thisted for a respray at Airborne Colours and was due to depart to Den Helder on 12th June.
Friday 13th June (14.30pm - 15.15pm) A short visit today, Easyjet Airbus A319 G-EZAJ routed from and to London Gatwick as (EZY9090/2) for several hours training as (EZY09), Vistajet BD100 Challenger 350 9H-VCQ arrived from Venice for a night stop as (VJT495), leaving mid morning 14th to Paris Charles De Gaulle, also stopping the night after arriving from and heading to Milton near Peterborough was Piper PA31 Navajo N3544M, while routing from and too Fairoaks was Pilatus PC12 G-FITC, and lastly finally caught up with the classic resident G-BZRO Piper PA30 Twin Comanche.
Monday 16th June (Taken from my house on approach) Fed Ex tonight was operated by ASL Airlines France Boeing 737-400F F-GZTI as (FDX4717) routing from Edinburgh to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
